Colleagues from two Domtar facilities volunteered with the Student Conservation Association to restore historic facilities in Raleigh, North Carolina and Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. Their work will help preserve these buildings for future generations.
Colleagues at Domtar’s Personal Care facility in Waco, Texas, recently assembled and delivered 1,500 baby care packages, which included books and diapers, to local organizations that help support low-income families.
According to the U.S. Department of Education, not enough students have access to quality STEM programs. The Plymouth Mill’s STEM program provides students in nearby schools with the chance to learn from Domtar colleagues. Students get to talk to employees, tour the mill and learn how STEM studies can be applied to real life and future careers.
